We've been lucky enough to spend some time with my family recently. That's always fun, especially when my wonderful great-nephew is part of the gathering. (Not to mention my beautiful nieces!)

I've spent enough time with Colin recently that he got used to me enough to let me hold him. Also, his regular aunts weren't around, so he settled for a great aunt.

Autumn Hibiscus

Hibiscus blossoms are becoming fewer and farther between, but the great thing about this time of year is that the blooms last for longer than a day. In the summer when it's over 100, sometimes they don't make it through one whole day. But in the cooler temperatures now, they'll last up to 3 days. Woo hoo!

Home, with wines and corks to show for our travels. We ran out of room in our cooler, and were concerned about the drive through the desert, so some Washington red wines are being shipped to us as the weather cools. We'll get to relive and share our trip as we enjoy our wines!
