Separated at birth?

I can't take credit for this, since somebody else pointed out the striking resemblance between these 2 baseball stars.

The boys of summer

Spring is in the air, and baseball players are in town. We watched the Diamondbacks practice today, and it was good to hear the crack of the bat and the smack of the ball into catchers' mitts.

Lunar Eclipse

On Wednesday February 20, we braved the cool evening by our outdoor fireplace and enjoyed the total lunar eclipse. Unfortunately the clouds rolled in before totality, but it was still a beautiful sight.

Florence

A couple of weeks ago we took a Sunday drive and went through Florence, Arizona. We had to stop at the photogenic courthouse.

Sandhill Cranes

My mom suggested that we go see the Sandhill Cranes that winter in southeastern Arizona. So yesterday we drove to 2 wildlife preserves, and sure enough, there were lots o' cranes there. It was quite a sight.
