New family member

Mr. Beisbolfan asked me what I wanted to do this weekend. I told him I'd like to go look at dogs and cars. We didn't get a new car.

I really like snow globes, but we have too much "stuff", including Christmas things, and don't really need any more, but this reminded me too much of Sand3aye, so I had to buy it the other day. And I was in the holiday spirit, so what the heck.

Family

We've been lucky enough to spend some time with my family recently. That's always fun, especially when my wonderful great-nephew is part of the gathering. (Not to mention my beautiful nieces!)

I've spent enough time with Colin recently that he got used to me enough to let me hold him. Also, his regular aunts weren't around, so he settled for a great aunt.

Autumn Hibiscus

Hibiscus blossoms are becoming fewer and farther between, but the great thing about this time of year is that the blooms last for longer than a day. In the summer when it's over 100, sometimes they don't make it through one whole day. But in the cooler temperatures now, they'll last up to 3 days. Woo hoo!
